“The Myths of July 4th”

July 4th is celebrated as freedom day. The signers of the Declaration of Independence declared that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” The talk will discuss the realities of the July 4th Declaration and the ongoing hypocrisy of the “greatest country in the world”.
